Aldo Rossi, an architect before he was a product designer, gave this kettle the same cone motif that recurs across his buildings — reduced here to a single, uninterrupted geometric form in stainless steel.

Il Conico has no whistle; it's a quieter, more sculptural take on the kettle than Alessi's bird- or brass-whistle models, built around form rather than sound. The magnetic steel bottom makes it induction-compatible, and the mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel body is substantial enough to read as a design object on its own, on or off the stove.
