Jaime Hayon's Faunacrystopolis bird reappears here as a bud vase — the same pedestal-legged, single-block-carved silhouette as the figurine, but hollowed to hold a single stem. The pointed beak, eyes, and plumage are all rendered in cut facets rather than paint or applied detail; a gold tone picks out the "plumage" cuts.

A functional piece that reads as sculpture first — suited to a single flower rather than a full arrangement, and distinctive enough to stand alone without one.
