Aldo Rossi's second moka pot for Alessi trades La Conica's cone for a dome — a small, table-scale piece of architecture built to be used every morning rather than admired from a distance.

Designed in 1988, La Cupola was conceived with a more accessible goal than its predecessor: a coffee pot within easier reach for a broader audience, without abandoning Rossi's architectural sensibility. The body is cast aluminum, finished with a black thermoplastic handle and knob.
