La Stanza dello Scirocco Wall clock

Designed by Mario Trimarchi, the La Stanza dello Scirocco clock arranges irregularly shaped steel elements into a composition that shifts with the light, casting changing shadows across the wall. It takes its name and mood from the Sicilian scirocco — the stillness and imagination of a room waiting out the wind.

Measuring around 46 cm at its longest, it reads less as a timepiece than as a piece of wall sculpture that happens to keep the hour.
