Stefano Giovannoni's Mary Biscuit for Alessi is all soft, rounded shape, but its appeal goes beyond the visual: the box is made of a translucent material that is lovely to hold, and its lid carries a delicate aroma of butter cookies. Form follows function, then reaches a little further into the senses.
Generously sized at 28 cm long with a 350 cl capacity, it keeps biscuits close to hand while sitting happily on the counter.
