Mille Nuits Lamp

Designed by Mathias, the Mille Nuits lamp extends the collection's chandelier-and-candelabra lineage into a standing lamp: bevel-cut crystal base topped with a textile shade. The cutting is doing the same work it does throughout Mille Nuits — catching and refracting light through the transparency of the crystal rather than simply diffusing it from the bulb.

At 58 cm tall, it reads as more object than fixture — a piece to build a room's lighting scheme around rather than tuck into a corner.
