Octave Bread and breadstick basket

An elongated basket that trades wickerwork for polished steel.

Designed by Abi Alice for Alessi, the Octave basket pairs geometric structure with soft, flowing lines. Cut from mirror-polished stainless steel, its sculptural body catches and folds the light, so a simple service of bread or breadsticks becomes something worth looking at. At just over 40 cm long it holds a generous amount while keeping a low, elegant profile on the table.
