Michele De Lucchi's Pulcina takes its name — "little chick" — from its beak-shaped spout, engineered to stop pouring at the precise moment before coffee turns bitter. The body is cast aluminum with a red polyamide handle and knob, and the magnetic steel base is built for induction hobs (check that your hob activates with a base at least 90mm across before buying).
