Each lunar new year, Baccarat's Zodiaque line reimagines the year's animal in crystal, and 2024 belongs to the dragon. Designed by Allison Hawkes, the figure holds a proud, upright stance in keeping with traditional dragon iconography — powerful rather than fierce.

The clarity of the crystal is doing real work here: it magnifies the sculpture's fine detail at the eyes, mane, and fins, while gilding — applied by Baccarat's own gilders — picks out those same features with precision.
