Mysqueeze citrus-squeezer in steel

No handle, no lever, no moving parts — the Mysqueeze works because of what it leaves out.

Designed by Roland Kreiter, the squeezer is a single spiraled, hollow form in mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel. There's no defined grip: instead, the two halves of the citrus fruit itself become the handles, pressed together over the twisted steel body until the juice runs through. It's a small, slightly strange-looking object — until you understand how it's meant to be held.

The design caught the attention of Philippe Starck, who championed it after seeing it in a design competition; it entered Alessi's catalogue in the early 2010s as a compact, unfussy alternative to a countertop juicer.
