Designed by Michele De Lucchi in collaboration with illycaffè's coffee technologists, the Pulcina reworks the traditional stovetop moka with one deliberate change: a spout engineered to stop dispensing at the precise moment before the coffee turns bitter, preserving the aroma of the last drops instead of scorching it. The name — Italian for "chick" — comes from that spout, whose curved profile recalls a beak. It is a small mechanical idea with an outsized effect on what ends up in the cup.

Cast in aluminum with a black handle and knob, the 6-cup Pulcina is built for the stovetop ritual, not the induction hob — hand wash only, no induction compatibility. It is available in a black or red handle finish.
