A creamer in Villeroy & Boch's country-style Audun Ferme pattern, and a natural companion to the matching sugar bowl. Its farm scene of horses drawing a plough, printed in black and white, is based on a copper engraving from the turn of the last century, with a creamy yellow band highlighting a black laurel wreath near the rim and a second yellow band circling the base.
Classic in shape, the straight sides slant gently inward before flaring at the top, and the spout and handle keep to a simple, graceful line. Audun is named for a village in the Lorraine region of France, the site of the Boch family's first pottery. Made from Premium Porcelain, it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
It measures about 12 by 8 centimetres and stands roughly 8.7 centimetres tall, with a capacity of around 180 millilitres (6 oz).
