Avarua takes its name from the capital of the Cook Islands and its inspiration from the voyages of James Cook — botanical motifs, birds of paradise, and fine gold linework rendered across Premium Bone Porcelain in a way that gives the pattern real dimensional depth.

Each piece is finished with gold detailing set via the "Inglaze Gold" process, so the tropical pattern holds up under regular dishwasher use rather than wearing thin.

At 220mm, this dessert/breakfast plate brings a sense of place to an otherwise ordinary course — good for a leisurely breakfast or as the visual centerpiece of a themed dinner.
