A long centrepiece pierced with a pattern drawn from tree bark. Bark was designed for Alessi by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, its perforated surface giving a heavy object an unexpected lightness.
The piece is steel coloured with black epoxy resin, the finish deep and matte. It stretches to fifty-one and a half centimetres in length, standing low on the table at five centimetres tall.
