A small devil for the bar cart, born from a design studio's decade of play with form.
Alessi's in-house Centro Studi Alessi (CSA) worked with designer Biagio Cisotti to give this bottle opener its impish, cartoon-simple silhouette. It belongs to the F.F.F. — Family Follows Fiction — metaproject of the early 1990s, a study into how children and early cultures shape objects, and it's remained in the Alessi catalogue ever since.
Molded in a single piece of thermoplastic resin, Diabolix trades polish for personality: compact enough for a drawer, characterful enough to leave out by the bottles.
