Part of Marcel Wanders' Dressed service for Alessi, the plate is turned from white porcelain and finished with the fine relief pattern that traces the rim. It is the quiet ornament that gives the collection its name: restrained on the surface, detailed where the eye lingers. Broad and generous at 33.5 cm across, it sits easily at the centre of the table, whether laid with food or left to speak on its own.
