A vase that looks like a sheet of paper caught mid-fold.
Properly named E-Li-Li (model FM02), this piece is the work of Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas for Alessi, its lightweight, origami-like form drawn from a bent sheet of paper. It is made in 18/10 mirror-polished stainless steel and stands about 30 cm tall.
The design grew out of Alessi's Tea & Coffee Towers research, and it keeps that experimental edge: sculptural enough to stand empty, tall enough to carry a single stem or a loose armful of flowers.
