Designer Mattia Di Rosa gave Alessi's Gianni storage jar its signature detail: a laser-cut, bent-metal figure that appears to hang on for dear life at the rim. It is a small piece of theatre applied to a genuinely useful object — an airtight glass jar built to keep dry goods fresh without tainting flavour, sized here at 200cl for pantry staples that go through quickly.

Available in pink, white, black, blue, and yellow, it is equally at home lined up on an open shelf or gift-boxed for someone who takes their kitchen seriously.
