Harcourt 1841 Tumbler x2

Harcourt is the oldest pattern in Baccarat's archive, and the 1841 tumbler carries that weight in its hexagonal foot and beveled stem-to-base geometry. The design was commissioned during the reign of King Louis-Philippe, and the story of its royal commission is part of why Harcourt has remained Baccarat's most enduring silhouette for close to two centuries.

It has since sat on tables well beyond France — the Harcourt line has reportedly been selected by Pope John Paul II, the Queen of Thailand, and the King of Morocco, and it remains part of the service used at the Palais de l'Élysée. That kind of institutional continuity is rare in glassware; most patterns don't survive one century, let alone approach two.

As a tumbler, it trades the flute's height for a lower, denser form — better suited to spirits than sparkling wine, but cut with the same regal angles.
