Itsumo - Yunoki ware, Salad Bowl

An everyday bowl designed to be touched as much as used.

Itsumo — Japanese for “everyday and forever” — is Naoto Fukasawa's tableware line for Alessi, built around a single soft, curved line and an unusual attention to tactile quality: the pieces are meant to feel good under even the lightest touch. This is the Yunoki ware version, its decoration drawn from Fukasawa's collaboration with the centenarian Japanese textile artist Samiro Yunoki.

The salad bowl measures 20 cm across and 10 cm deep, holding around 1.95 litres — sized to mix and serve at the centre of the table. White and decorated Itsumo pieces are made to be mixed freely into a set of your own.
