At first sight the Kaleidos basket reads as a piece of crumpled metal; look closer and it resolves into a carefully considered vessel with a refined form. Designed by Naoko Shintani, the steel body shifts with the light through the day, its facets taking on new expressions in the manner of a kaleidoscope.
Here the steel carries a black epoxy-resin coating. Measuring 26 cm in diameter and 9 cm high, it serves as a fruit bowl or as an independent piece of interior decoration.
