Masséna Glass, L

A wine glass with the presence of something cut for a state table.

Deep orgue bevel cuts are etched into the clear crystal, radiating from the foot to the base of the wide bowl and leaving the upper bowl smooth by contrast. The detailing gives the glass a chalice-like heft, while the polished silhouette carries a prismatic play of light.

The L is one component of the Masséna bar and tableware collection, alongside highball glasses, tumblers and a decanter that share the same textural cut. It stands 17.6 cm tall and holds 25 cl. Made in France. Year of creation 1980. Reference 1344102.
