Maya, Round Basket D.20

An essential line that turns reflective when the light catches it.

The Maya basket began in the 1970s as a graphic idea by Giulio Confalonieri, translated into three dimensions and pressed from sheet steel by cold forming. In this 20 cm edition the original polished stainless steel is joined by iridescent finishes that shift between green and violet.

It stands 7.5 cm high on a 20 cm diameter, a small centrepiece that reads as both mirror and sculpture.
