MetroChic Espresso cup

A small cup with a big-city attitude. MetroChic is Villeroy & Boch's most urbane tableware line, and this espresso cup carries its signature geometric pattern in expressive black and gold against fine white.

It is made from Premium Bone Porcelain, the house's most refined body, prized for its strength and gentle translucency. The gold decoration is applied using an Inglaze Gold technique that fires the pattern into the glaze, so the brilliance holds through everyday use. Because it carries a precious-metal decoration, it is dishwasher safe but must not be placed in the microwave.

Standing around 5.7 cm tall with a capacity of roughly 60 ml, it is sized for a proper short black. Mix and match freely across the MetroChic range for a table that reads as a considered, modern style statement.
