MetroChic Tea Set

Black lacquer and gold geometry, cast in porcelain. MetroChic pairs architect Barry Goralnick's graphic pattern language with Villeroy & Boch's gold-coated Premium Bone Porcelain — a collaboration that turns a tea service into a small piece of Art Deco-inflected design.

The set covers the full ritual: a 1.2L teapot for steeping, a 0.22L creamer for milk, and a 0.33L sugar/jam pot for the finishing touch. The gold pattern is set using "Inglaze Gold" technology, which fires the decoration into the glaze rather than over it, so the black-and-gold motif is built to withstand daily service rather than fade with the first few washes.
