Moka Espresso Coffee Maker, 3 cups

Designed by architect David Chipperfield, this Moka is a considered reinterpretation of one of the enduring icons of Italian coffee culture. Chipperfield keeps the shape instantly recognisable while introducing small, functional refinements — among them a flat lid that doubles as a surface for warming the cups, so the aroma and flavour of the espresso are enjoyed at their best. Production of this version began in 2019.

Cast in aluminium with handle and knob in grey polyamide, it brews three cups and stands about 13.5 cm high. For those who prefer their coffee made the traditional stovetop way, it is proof that a classic can be respected and still moved forward.
