Ottagonale Milk Jug

Carlo Alessi designed this milk jug in the 1930s as part of the Ottagonale series. Compact and mirror-polished, with a bakelite handle for a cool, sure grip, it holds a modest 25 cl, exactly sized for a coffee or tea service rather than everyday large-format pouring.

Carlo Alessi joined the family metalworking business in the 1930s and went on to lead Alessi as president for decades — the Ottagonale line remains one of his earliest and most enduring designs.
