This "Proust" edition applies a hand-decorated finish to Alessandro Mendini's Parrot corkscrew, produced in cast aluminum and polycarbonate.
Like the rest of the Parrot family, its mechanism is licensed from Pulltaps; production of this decorated version began in 2008.
It reads less like barware and more like a small collectible — one that happens to open bottles very well.
