Poele Chair

A chair where a polished steel shell meets a plain beech frame.

Philippe Starck reworks a familiar piece of furniture: a minimalist beech structure carrying a metal shell with soft, organic lines. In his hands the steel becomes sculptural, the seat shaped to the body through careful ergonomics, and the backrest curves out into two small armrests, a signature of his design language.

The monoshell is in 18/10 stainless steel, mirror polished, with the structure and armrests in brown-dyed beech wood. It measures 81 cm high, 56 cm long and 53.5 cm wide. Code PS20.
